I read Dr. David Jeremiah’s book entitled” ESCAPE THE COMING NIGHT” while on vacation in May. I was blessed as he took me through "what must soon take place” (Revelation 1:1-3) described in the chapters of the book of Revelation. He also pointed out in those same verses that Revelation is the only book in the Bible that promises a special blessing for those who study it. The key thought for all of us in Revelation is simple: God has a plan for the future and for eternity. He wants us to study His word and know the plan. It’s like knowing that the stock market will crash tomorrow or when Los Angeles will suffer a major earth quake. We would all view our lives differently if we knew the future. When this world comes to an end, according to God’s Word, He has a glorious happy ending for those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book Of Life.

Jim and I have been giving Bibles for distribution over the past 17 years to ministries worldwide who have very little financial support. On June 14, 2012 we became a 501© (3) Charitable Ministry called “Sharing His Word”. Again in May of this year The Lord gave us a revelation about His Word The Bible that we had never thought about. Dr. Jeremiah asked the question in his book “How will people be saved during the period of the Tribulation if all the believers are gone?” His answer was “through the two witnesses (REV. 11), who will be sent into the world prophesying and doing mighty deeds. Another way is through the 144,000 Jews sealed for God’s purpose during this period (Rev.14). It is possible, however that another means will be used. This would be through the “silent witness” that Dr. Henry Morris describes:”

“Millions upon millions of copies of the Bible and Bible portions have been published in all major languages, and distributed throughout the world through the dedicated ministries of the Gideon's, the Wycliff Bible translators, and other such Christian organizations. Removal of believers from the world at the Rapture will not remove the Scriptures, and multitudes will no doubt be constrained to read the Bible in those days…..Thus many will turn to their Creator and Savior at that time, and be willing to give their testimony for the Word Of God.”

Jim Golba, the founder of Sharing His Word, was given a message from the Lord years ago to give 1 million Bibles and Scriptures annually. Since the ministry began, it has been financially supported by our tithe. We alone cannot afford to accomplish what the Lord wants us to do. As time passed and we were receiving very little support for the ministry, I began thinking perhaps he heard wrong and God was saying 1 million in your lifetime. Jim said “No, it was and still is 1 million annually.” Over the years we have distributed close to 700,000 Bibles and Scriptures. We are reaching out for ministry partners to join us both financially and with distribution of bibles across the country. We are praying daily that the Lord will help us (and we know He will). He never asks us to do any more than He knows we are capable of doing. Praise God for all of those who will answer His call.
